Howdy all,

    I know how many different things people have to do with there 
Saturdays. I also know how difficult it is to spend time in a place 
where you are confronted by a lot of really heavy sights. It really 
takes a special kind of person to come into a place like Hacienda on 
there day off and spend time playing with the children and helping out 
around the facility.  To those of you who took time out of your busy 
schedules to come down yesterday, I want to acknowledge you for being 
extraordinary people. You really made a difference in the lives of the 
people who live and work there.

    In fact, it takes a special kind of person to just express interest 
in a project like this. Many people donated time and materials and 
support to the project who were not able to make it out yesterday. To 
those of you who donated time, materials and support, I also want to 
acknowledge for being someone who made a difference.

    Thanks to everyone who contributed, Hacienda now has cleaner vans, 
closets and shelves. They also have more books and some of the residents 
even got custom decorated shirts. By the end of the day yesterday they 
had some very worn out children as well. During the day I got asked many 
times when we were going to come back. The day was a smashing success.
